CHARLESTON,
W.Va. – West Virginia
Ethics Commission announced today that public employees and officials who are
required to complete Financial Disclosure Statements must file their completed
forms with the Ethics Commission before February 1, 2018.
Forms are
available on the Commission’s website at www.ethics.wv.gov.
The following categories of
public servants are required to file a Financial Disclosure Statement form:
Persons elected to statewide
offices;
Members of the
Legislature;
All county elected
officials;
Officials elected
in Charleston and Fairmont municipal elections;
Members of county
boards of education;
County school
superintendents;
Members of state
boards, commissions and agencies who were appointed by the Governor;
Secretaries of
state executive level departments;
State executive
level Commissioners, deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners;
State executive
level directors, deputy directors and assistant directors;
State executive
level department heads, deputy department heads and assistant department heads,
and
Candidates in
Charleston and Fairmont municipal elections.
Disclosures
may also be filed directly through the Ethics Commission’s website. Those who did not
receive PIN numbers may contact the Commission.
