CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Ethics Commission will present a one-hour training course regarding provisions of the Ethics Act relevant to lobbyists on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the West Virginia State Training Center Capitol Room (Gaston Caperton Training Center) in Building 7 at the State Capitol Complex.
First-time lobbyists in West Virginia who have not completed lobbyist training must complete this training within 90 days of the date on which they register to lobby.
All lobbyists registered in West Virginia must complete one training course during the January 1, 2015-December 31, 2016, lobbyist registration cycle.

Lobbyists may also fulfill the statutory training requirement by viewing a training video on the Ethics Commission’s website at www.ethics.wv.gov.
