CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Ethics Commission announced that registered lobbyists are required to submit their Lobbyist Activity Reports for the September 1 - December 31, 2015, reporting period by Friday, January 15, 2016.
Blank reporting forms will not be sent to lobbyists through the United States Mail. Forms have been emailed to lobbyists and also are available on the Ethics Commission’s website at www.ethics.wv.gov.
Even if lobbyists have no activity to report, they must file an activity report.
Failure to file activity reports by January 15 will result in a fine of $10.00 for each business day the report is late up to a maximum of $250.00. Completed forms will not be accepted via fax, although they may be scanned and submitted via email.
