CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Ethics Commission announces that it will present a one-hour training course regarding the provisions of the Ethics Act, relevant to lobbyists, on January 20 at 10 a.m. at the West Virginia State Training Center Capitol Room (Gaston Caperton Training Center) in Building 7 on the State Capitol Complex.
First-time lobbyists in West Virginia who have not yet attended lobbyist training must complete this training within 90 days of the date on which they registered to lobby.
All lobbyists registered in West Virginia must complete one training course during the January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2016 Lobbyist Registration Cycle.
