CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia
Purchasing Division will be conducting a free seminar for vendors wishing to do
business with the state of West Virginia, titled Doing Business with West
Virginia, on Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The seminar, which is located at Concord University at 1000 Vermillion Street, Athens, WV,
is designed for current and potential vendors to learn about the state
procurement process and how they can maximize their opportunity to bid and
perform work for West Virginia state government.
Some of the topics addressed will include how vendors can:
- Market
their commodities and services to West Virginia state agencies;
- Register
as a vendor with the Purchasing Division;
- Submit
bids/proposals for solicitations;
- Expanding
vendors’ customer base;
- Obtain
items from the West Virginia Surplus Property Program;
- And
much more valuable information!
The meeting will take
place in the lower level of the Pais Fellowship Hall in the University
Point building on campus. Free parking is available across the street from the
building.
