8/6/2018

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Purchasing Division will be conducting a free seminar for vendors interested in doing business with the state of West Virginia on Thursday, August 16, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Elkins, West Virginia.

The seminar, which is located at the DHHR building at 1027 N. Randolph Avenue in Elkins, WV, is designed for current and potential vendors to learn about the state procurement process and how they can maximize their opportunity to bid and perform work for West Virginia state government. Some of the topics addressed will include how vendors can:

·         Market their commodities and services to West Virginia state agencies;

·         Register as a vendor with the Purchasing Division;

·         Submit bids/proposals for solicitations;

·         Expanding vendors’ customer base;

·         Obtain items from the West Virginia Surplus Property Program;

·         And much more valuable information!

The meeting will take place in the large conference room within the DHHR building. This is a secured building, so each attendee must enter through the front door and will need to sign in at the reception window. A staff member will then take you to the meeting room. Free parking is available in the lot beside the building.
