CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Purchasing Division will be conducting a free seminar for
vendors interested in doing business with the state of West Virginia on Thursday,
August 16, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Elkins, West Virginia.
The seminar, which is located at the
DHHR building at 1027 N. Randolph Avenue in Elkins, WV, is designed for current
and potential vendors to learn about the state procurement process and how they
can maximize their opportunity to bid and perform work for West Virginia state
government. Some of the topics addressed will include how vendors can:

Market
their commodities and services to West Virginia state agencies;
·
Register
as a vendor with the Purchasing Division;
·
Submit
bids/proposals for solicitations;
·
Expanding
vendors’ customer base;
·
Obtain
items from the West Virginia Surplus Property Program;
·
And
much more valuable information!
The meeting will take
place in the large conference room within the DHHR building. This is a
secured building, so each attendee must enter through the front door and will
need to sign in at the reception window. A staff member will then take you to
the meeting room. Free parking is available in the lot beside the building.
