W.Va. Surplus Property Offers Variety of Vehicles to College Students

8/12/2013

As college students prepare to head back to classes this fall, the West Virginia State Agency for Surplus Property (WVSASP) can help families send them off in good vehicle at a low price. Located at 2700 Charles Avenue in Dunbar, WVSASP has many vehicles currently available, including sedans, pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, at prices that are guaranteed to fit your budget.

“Sending your child off to college is both exciting and financially worrisome for parents. You want to give them the best you can afford,” said Assistant Purchasing Director and WVSASP Manager Elizabeth Perdue. “Since our vehicles were originally part of the state’s fleet, they were properly maintained for government use. Parents can feel more at ease with their child driving away in one of our vehicles at a savings.”

Payment methods accepted include check, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard. All vehicles are sold in “as is, where is” condition. The selection of vehicles that are available may change without notice. For a listing of available vehicles, visit http://www.state.wv.us/admin/purchase/surplus/vehicle.html.
